1. Khajjiar

This is a small town in the hills situated near Dalhousie. It surrounded by forests and is home to wildlife sanctuary called ‘kalatop wildlife reserve’, this reserve has variety of Flora fauna which one must watch. Also this town is full of scenic spots for a fun or serene Picnic with your loved ones.

2. Panchpula

‘Waterfalls, lakes, forests, boating, fun’ all these things can be found and done in this place. Because of large abundance of water, this place supplies water to majority of villages in Dalhousie.

3. Chamera Lake

This beautiful man made lake is near the Chamera Dam. It is situated in the outskirts of Dalhousie and boy is it a sight! This is one of the favourite himachal tourist places to visit in Dalhousie.

4. Garam Sadak

As the name suggests, this is road which experiences a higher temperature than other areas. This road connects Gandhi Chowk and Shubash Chowk, two very important towns of Dalhousie the road can also be called a market. This is one of the best places to visit in Dalhousie because from here you can enjoy the beautiful view of Dalhousie and at the same time you can admire the beautiful Tibetan rock paintings.

1. Dainkund Peak

For the thrill seekers trekking at this mountain would be a dream comes true the peak of this mountain stands terribly high at about 2,700 meters above sea level which is around 9000 feet. But one may not be able to access the peak not because of the height, but because the Indian Air Force presently occupies its peak. Prior permission may help.

2. Sach Pass

For the trekkers out there, this pass is compared to Rohtang Pass due to the difficulty faced while crossing the terrain so you should now understand that this is the real deal. This pass is a way to the Chamba Valley and stands high at a height of 14000+ feet.

3. Ganji Pahadi

The name of this place comes due to lack of any kind of growth in this patch of Barkota Hills in the Himalayas. It takes about an hour of uphill walk to reach the top, but the view is totally worth it ! The quality of air is so pure and refreshing that it could give you high! This makes it the greatest Dalhousie tourist places.
